Join the Washington School of Photography for the 2010 Fall Photo Expo at the Bethesda DoubleTree Hotel!

We’ve scheduled two days packed full with great informative sessions to take your photography to the next

Havre de Grace, Maryland photographer Leo P. Heppner opens the Fall Photo Expo with demonstrations
and reviews of the latest gadgets and equipment to improve your photography experience during "This Just
In: Photo Gadgetry to Save You Time and Money" from 10am to 11:30am.

Leesburg, Virginia wedding photographer Dan Peppel shares his secrets to getting the best portrait lighting
configurations according to the client’s facial features and physical characteristics with "Facing the Challenge
of Portraiture: Lighting Techniques for Facial Features." from 12:30pm to 2pm.

Our clients want to look better than they really look, that’s why they come to a professional photographer.
But before we can improve their image, we need to know what to look for. Dan Peppel demonstrates a new
way to look for the best in a person and how to bring that out in our photographs. We’ll look at which lighting
techniques and poses will help a person "look their best".

Rockville, Maryland artist Judith HeartSong and WSP Executive Director Missy Loewe will present the
multitude of ways to market your photography to potential clients and buyers during "Seen and Sold", a
presentation sure to generate new ideas for marketing and getting your work in front of gallerists, potential
clients, and photo buyers, from 2:15pm until 3:30pm.

We’ll wrap up day one with a Model Call Meet and Greet, an extraordinary opportunity to network with
models looking for photographers from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

On Sunday, September 12, we’ll host Portfolio in a Day! With multiple shooting stations throughout the
Bethesda DoubleTree ballrooms and salons, professional photographers Dan Peppel, Leo P. Heppner, Paul
Pavot and others will be on hand to assist in photographing:

•Glamour headshots
•Child Portraits
•Couples and Engagement
•Bridal Portraits
•Groom Portraits
•Executive Portraiture
•LensBaby Portraiture
•Model Headshots
Imagine going from station to station, all day, first trying your hand at food photography, then heading over
to a bridal portrait, then learn to light a silhouette. With four stations rotating sets all day, you'll have 16
great scenes and lessons on posing, lighting, and hands on shooting help from our experts. We'll also have an
"open shooting room" with models and help from staff, so you can try your hand at whatever shot you like.

It’s an all-day shoot, with just the right opportunities to network with models and other photographers,
capture the knowledge and images you need to build and complete your portfolio, and take your
photography to higher levels!

All registrants will receive a free Fall Photo Expo t-shirt and a copy of WSP Executive Director Missy
Loewe's book "Seen & Sold: 51 Proven Ideas for Marketing Your Art in Any Economy."

Come for one day or both for one low this price, even one day of great education, inspiration and
networking is well worth it!
